When was the last time you were part of a miracle? It isn’t every day that we get to do something amazing, nor do we get to personally save the life of a child, but Rotary District 7500 Gift of Life does and YOU are a part of that miracle.

The Mission of Gift of Life

The mission of Rotary District 7500 Gift of Life Foundation is to provide free medical services to children in third world nations suffering from congenital heart defects, regardless of age, race, gender, creed or national origin, who without our help would certainly die.

Why do we do this? Because 93% of the world’s population do not have access to a trained cardiac thoracic surgeon, nor a hospital that can perform the surgery. Most of the children affected simply will have no opportunity to live a full and happy life.

We continue to work to bring children here to the United States, fund strategic overseas missions, and this year, in a combined effort of three Gift of Life Foundations, have committed to funding the services of a trained pediatric cardiac surgeon in Managua, Nicaragua until 2008.
