Dear Fellow Rotarians,

The mission of Rotary District 7500 Gift of Life Foundation is to provide free medical services to children in third world countries who are in desperate need of corrective heart surgery regardless of race, creed, gender or national origin who, without our help, will certainly die.

Why do we care?

Your Gift of Life Foundation has identified major factors that contribute to a child not receiving vital care in their own country.

• Limited or no access to healthcare
• Limited or no access to a trained physician
• Limited or no access to a hospital
• Limited or no health insurance
• POVERTY LEVEL INCOME OF LESS THAN $500 USD PER YEAR

What we fund

Your Gift of Life Foundation is working in three areas to continue to provide the life saving surgery so needed by these special children. We fund:

• Single child surgeries in the United States
• Mission support of Non Governmental Agencies such as the International Children's Heart Foundation lead by Dr. William Novick
• The services of Dr. Kathleen Fenton in Managua, Nicaragua for 2006-2008 operating on hundreds of Rotary babies.  (Because of the success of this program and the willingness of Dr. Fenton to continue working in Nicaragua, the foundation has pledged it's support for an additional two (2) years.)

How YOU help

Without the support of our 40 Rotary Clubs, individual Rotarians, generous donors and sponsors, we could not sustain our mission through the years. To date YOU have helped save the lives of more than 400 children.
